Adoperations ("we", "us") operates adoperationsglobal.com, including the free Ads.txt & Sellers.json Checker tool. This policy explains what personal data we process, on what legal basis, and what rights you have over it. We're a small ad operations consultancy, not a large ad-tech platform — this document covers what we actually collect, nothing more. Contact: [email protected].

What information we collect

Via the checker tool: the domain and ads.txt / app-ads.txt URL you submit, the email address you provide, and the results of the check.
Via other forms on this site (e.g. Contact): your name, email, and whatever you write in the message field.
Automatically: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and site operation. The checker tool itself sets no advertising cookies.

Legal basis for processing (GDPR Art. 6)

Running the check and showing you results: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — you asked for this, so processing your domain and URL is necessary to answer that request.
Adding you to our mailing list: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given via the checkbox before you submit. You can withdraw this at any time.
Responding to a Contact form enquiry: legitimate interest, or contractual necessity (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) where it relates to a service you've asked us to provide.

How we use it

To run the check and display your results directly on this page — results are shown instantly and are never emailed to you. Use the "Print / Save as PDF" button if you want a copy.
To keep a log of checks run, so we can improve the accuracy of the tool over time.
To follow up with occasional relevant updates from Adoperations, only if you ticked the consent checkbox. Unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email we send.

Who we share it with

Supabase (EU-hosted database) — stores the check log.
Brevo (EU-based email service provider) — manages our mailing list and sends any follow-up emails.
We never sell your data, and we don't share it with anyone outside these two processors except where required by law.

How long we keep it

Check log entries (domain, URL, email, results): retained for 24 months, then deleted, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Mailing list entries: retained until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
Contact form messages: retained for 24 months.

Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct inaccurate data, request erasure, object to or restrict processing, request data portability, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal. You can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] — we respond within 30 days.

Cookies

The checker tool itself doesn't set cookies or use local storage. The wider adoperationsglobal.com site's cookie use is covered separately in our Cookie Policy.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision.
